What a wonderful, generous and educational opportunity you both offered for FREE. Thank You!
Patrick, the way you showed us and described what you were doing to facilitate relaxation and movement was beautiful. I think I learned more in these three videos, then a lifetime of exploring different modalities. relaxation is mentioned, but not in depth.
I’ve never been exposed much to dressage, but here I am in my 60’s, and I’m realizing how important these fundamental tools you’ve shared are, for all disciplines, Even the backyard, bareback rider, such as myself.
Callie, thank you so much for inviting Patrick to share his golden nuggets of wisdom with us!
Thank you so much for these videos.
I am wondering how we ask for haunches in when standing near the horses head?
Also, where to find a long bamboo stick?
Thanks!
Hi DD, Patrick goes over haunches in in one of the later modules of the course, he usually asks for haunches in on the opposite side of the side he is on.
I have found my bamboo sticks growing in various places! Sometimes stores such as home depot or garden stores have them as well
wish this video had been around when I first got into dressage. would have helped enormously. looking forward to trying these moves on my little mare. hopefully they will help loosen her jaw/neck/ back to improve our marks.
Callie and Patrick. Thank you so much for you time and what you provide for free. Not too many trainers do this especially in Australia. I love love love how you bring it back to basics and talk things through step by step. As a new rider and horse owner having this information available is so helpful as I can come back to it and go over it again and again which helps both my horse and myself being more relaxed and connected. Thank you

Great video!!! Thank you Callie and Patrick!!!
I’m looking forward to more relaxation. We can partner that with physical and mental engagement and bring more animation to our movement.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! I am really looking forward to the In hand Course and practicing these movements with my horse! Win win for both of us.

Thanks. Needed the reminder of how valuable the in hand work is to the horse and also to me.
Thanks for showing us the way to relaxation and strength. So helpful!
