Our historic farmhouse was built in 1790 and three generations of the King family have lived in this home. To keep with the tradition of living simply and without waste, almost all the furniture in this home is either antiques from my family or was found in local thrift stores. The decorative items and art each have their own unique story.
We want you to be absolutely comfortable here, so make yourself at home, explore the nooks and crannies and closets for a few hidden treasures, and soak in the history, known and unknown, remembered and forgotten, of the Farmhouse of King Road.
This is our downstairs bedroom. It has its own entrance to the porch and a view of the front farm pasture.
Best views of the farm! From this upstairs room, you can see the pastures and fields down the valley. This is the largest bedroom.
This room also has wonderful views of the front pastures. It is located above the living room, so can have a bit more sound than the others.
This room is perfect for friends or family comfortable sharing a room but can also be booked for a single guest. Large room with plenty of space.
This room is nestled in the rear of the home, with a view of the back pasture. A comfortable room with a desk for working space and a large wall mirror. This room does sit close to the adjacent wing of the home with other tenants and occasionally there are some sounds that can be heard from that home in this room.
The Farmhouse of King Road is available for individual room rentals only during our events.
The full home is available for rental on AirBnb, click here to view the listing.
